1. The learners would have honed the skills acquired pertaining to Comprehension [oral & written] and Production [oral & written] of French language.

 

2. The skills acquired in the French language, along with phonetic specificities the learners’ employability in the job market.

Advanced Diploma Course French and Russian

1. The learners, having been trained in technical aspects of Translation and Commercial aspects of the languages in question, makes them suitable to take on translation work in the industries and corporate sectors of outsourcing.

 

2. The study of advanced structural grammar enables the learners to understand the specificities and functioning of the languages in question, which would enhance their communicational competence in the languages in question.

 

 

M.A. in French –PG Course

 

1. The knowledge of French and Francophone literature and the Teaching skills of French Methodology embedded in the programmme, enables the students to take up teaching profession in schools, colleges and Universities.

 

2. The M.A. program which contains the aspect Vocational French, prepares the students to take up professions in the business sectors and corporate fields, both at national and international levels.

 

3. The M.A. graduates having studied Translational theories and practices are well equipped to take up professional translations of various kinds: technical and literary. This post-graduate programme also enables the students to procure jobs in the fields of journalism and information technology. They could also take up research studies at higher levels, like comparative and interdisciplinary studies.
