Dr.K.Madangobalane, completed his M.A. & Ph.D. in French from KUD and served as the HOD of French at Madras University, Chennai for many years. He is also the president of AITF [Association of Indian Teachers of French]. He has worked immensely in the Academic field. Guided may doctorates, strengthened Indo-French cultural & linguistic relations. He was conferred upon French Govt’s highest and prestigious award “Chevalier Palme d’or”.
Dr. Suman Sakar completed her M.A. and Ph.D. in French under the able guidance of Prof. K.J. Mahale. Being the HOD she worked for enriching French Studies at Bangalore University and published several books on Indo-French Studies.
Dr. M.J.N.A. Xavier completed his Ph.D. in French from KUD & worked as Professor of French in EFLU [ The English & Foreign Languages Central University] formerly called as CIEFL [ Central Institute of English & Foreign Languages], Hyderabad.
Dr. Narendran, completed his Ph.D in Russia from KUD under the guidance of Dr.D.B.Dhawan and subsequently as Professor of Russian he headed the school of Foreign Languages at CUSAT [Cochin University of Science and Technology] Kochi, Kerala.
