Museum - Department has one of the best museums in the state, which provides access to the wealth of geological knowledge to school children, who visit department regularly. Visitor impressions register is maintained.
Department Library-The Department has its own library called the Geo-Association Library, which has a very good collection of books/journals donated by the alumni of this Department. It also has a huge collection of Toposheets of Karnataka and parts of neighboring states. It also serves as a Reading Room.
Seminar Hall-The Department has a well-furnished Seminar Hall with a seating capacity of around 80. It is also air-conditioned with 2 wall-mounted ACs. This seminar hall is utilized for conducting Invited Lectures, Special Lecture Series, Endowment Lecture Series and regular seminars by the students and research scholars.
