FACILITIES
  • Building and Infrastructure: Kanaka Bhavana is honoured in the premises of Karnatak Unversity,Dharwad in 2005.The building consists of two floors, two class rooms with LCD, Library, Auditorium, office room, Coordinator chamber, staff rooms, museum hall, with well furnished furniture and  also well maintained garden in front of Kanaka Bhavana.
  • Kanaka Library: The centre is well equipped with library, the Peetha has more than 5,000 books out of these more than 2,000 books were collected from the donars.These books pertain to Kannada literature and Culture, works on research methods and techniques, literary criticism, modern literature, Vachana Literature, Dasa literature and Social Science etc. The volumes are housed in the, reader friendly hall which enables students to study in a serene atmospshere. It is open from 11 A.M. to 5 P.M.
  • Kanaka Museum: It is planned to display oil paintings, depicting episodes and events from Kankan’s life. Already there are some Photographs showing details of Kanakas wanderings as a popular preacher of moral and religious values. There are also on display hand written manuscripts of Kanak’s work. Considerable efforts are being made to collect all relevant materials- Photographs, folk-art, traditional tools, music instrument etc.
  • Auditorium: The Pheetha has a separate Auditorium of its own which has the sitting capacity of 220. It is elegantly furnished. It has all modern facilities enable by modern technology. It provides scope for meaningful cultural and literary events. It has excellent lighting arrangement.

        Kanaka Statue: The statue is a public attraction, an impressive bronze statue of Kanaka is on display and it is six feet height
