The application of ICT in teaching and learning to be initiated.
Since the department has large collection of manuscripts and the same has been digitized under Karnataka Government’s Classical Kannada Project. Since Kannada has been accorded Classical Tag by the Central Government there is a need to give scope to classical literature studies by encouraging our students to take up studies relating to manuscripts reading and manuscripts deciphering etc., Hence there is a need to have a separate manuscripts library in our department.
Bringing out our own Departmental Journal containing the research articles pertaining to language and literature by our faculty.
Plans to bring out separate Journal containing the articles of Research Scholars under “Kannada Samshodhana Sangha.”
