MISSION

Impart Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s vision of modern India

To educate and empower the quest for human rights, struggle for social emancipation, upliftment of the downtrodden and their liberation from social evils

 

Goals:

1. To enhance the research activities purely on high academic standard by organizing Symposia, Conferences & Special Lectures.
2. To take up research endeavours in order to elevate the dept to an high academic standard centre for excellence in Ambedkar’s thoughts, teachings, Principles of Socio, Economic, Political & Cultural importance.
3. To establish a museum on the campus about Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s life, mission  & teachings for the academic fraternity   & stake holders on the model of science park with large auditorium with modern amenities. 
4. Plans of inviting foreign scholars / visiting professors of eminence from abroad and of national level experts.
5. To take up various research projects to create awareness for the benefit of students, research scholars and general public / stakeholders.
6. With the substantial growth in academic endeavors the dept also wishes to establish MA Course in Dr. B. R. Ambedkar studies by M.Phil & Ph.D programme later.
7. To establish the centre as one of the research centre of excellence of state of Art standard not only in the state, but in the country.
8. To organise research methodology workshops and women empowerment programmes for the sake of students and & stakeholders
