MISSION

To build strong manpower with necessary business and technical skills for promoting entrepreneurial activities and produce professionals to promote the best business practices on contemporary issues in the business world.

Goals:

• To design creative, job oriented and value based courses in the form of certificates, P G diplomas, etc, and to revise graduate and post-graduate courses.
• To strengthen and widen the base of alumni association of the department.
• To take commerce course to its backyards by spreading business knowledge among businesses in the catchment area of the university.
• To strengthen and sharpen the research activities in the department.
• To hold interaction between business leaders and academia on NEP created new commerce curriculum.
• To organise workshops and seminars in association with ICAI, ICMA, ICSI and other organisations.
• To create a platform for campus placement by profiling CVs of students and identifying user groups.
• To pursue industries and/or business units sharing CSR grants for educational purpose to develop infrastructural facilities
