FACILITIES

The Department has established its own employment cell and several companies including multinational companies (MNCs) hold campus interviews for our Post- Graduate and research students. It is a matter of pride to note that about 20-25% of our students find their placement before completion of the course.  The department is proud to have Karnatak University Chemistry Alumni Association (Reg.) to foster Fellowship, to help financially needy students and to provide a forum to bring together the past students to know their progress and development in chemical sciences.

The Department has sophisticated instrumental facilities like UV-Visible spectrophotometer (2 No.s), Potentiostat, Fuel cell work station, Vibrating Sample Magnetometer(VSM), Molecular Modelling, Microwave Synthesizer, Polarimeter, stopped flow accessory etc. The Department also houses its own departmental library and has procured a large number of text books under the centrally aided programmes which are useful to Post-Graduate, research students and also the Teaching Staff..
