FACILITIES

The Department of Psychology has well equipped Laboratory for the practical aspect of the subject and it has more than 400equipments and paper pencil tests for the diagnostic and assessment of various aspects of personality as well as psychopathology. Tests are also available for assessment of intelligence and aptitude.Every year new testing tools are added to the laboratory according to the need of the syllabus. The Department also has a well equipped Computer Laboratory connected with WiFi and internet land line connection. 

Besides these,the Department has full pledged Counselling Centre and provides counselling services to cater to the needs of various stakeholders. So far hundreds of general public and students from Karnatak University and from outside have availed the counselling facilities in the cell. The students are availing counselling services for various problems such as mental health issues, lower academic performance, lack of interest in studies, adjustmental problems, career guidance etc. We are providing the counselling services to the needy for all sorts of psycho-social problems. The needy can avail the counselling services in the department with nominal fee (Rs. 100/-).
